Bombay Keraleeya Samithi, Malad West Distributes Books & Felicitates SSC/HSC Meritorious Students

Mumbai: Bombay Keraleeya Samithi, Malad West organised its annual Book and School Stationery Distribution programme along with SSC/HSC Meritorious Students Felicitation at the Samajam office, Malad West.The initiative, held every year at the start of the academic session, aims to support underprivileged children by providing them with essential educational material. As part of the programme, students from nearby schools who secured top ranks in SSC and HSC examinations were felicitated for their academic excellence.

Addressing the gathering, President Adv. Padma Divakaran said the Samithi has always accorded top priority to education as it is the most powerful tool for social upliftment.Secretary Adv. Rakhee Sunil stated that the Samithi extends help without any discrimination of caste, creed or community. “Our Samithi has been supporting needy children every year irrespective of their background. For us, every child is part of the Samajam family. Education must reach every door, without bias,” she said.

Treasurer Shri K. P. Gopalakrishnan thanked donors, well-wishers and volunteers for their continued support in making the drive successful year after year.The event was attended by students, parents, teachers, Samithi office bearers, and members. Books, notebooks and other stationery items were distributed to the beneficiaries, followed by the felicitation of meritorious students with certificates and mementos.
