Asia Cup 2025 Final: Dubai gears up for blockbuster IND vs PAK summit clash

Dubai  : Asia Cup 2025 final between India and Pakistan, taking place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium . The match will get underway today at 8:00 pm IST, with the toss set for 7:30 pm IST. The two sides will take each other on for the third time this tournament, with the reigning T20 World Cup champion coming out on the victorious side in each of the last two encounters. Overall, India enjoys a favourable head-to-head record against its cross-border rival in the shortest format of the game, having won 11 out of 15 encounters, losing three, with one contest ending in a tie (India won after a bowl-out). This will be India’s second Asia Cup T20I final after the 2016 edition, when it won by eight wickets against Bangladesh in Mirpur. For Pakistan, it will be a maiden appearance in the final of the continental tournament in the T20I format. India’s Abhishek Sharma equalled the record for most consecutive T20I fifties for India during the previous game against Sri Lanka. With the ability to take the game away in the PowerPlay, he will be the biggest threat Pakistan will have to contend with. On the other hand, Pakistan’s batting order has had a middling tournament with major contributions being few and far between.
